A south facing balcony at a sheltered square downtown Amsterdam. Hot and sunny enough to work with some mediterranean plants.

The idea was to create a lush planting that can handle some drought and full sun while still maintaining some winter interest, all condensed in two large planters. The small tree is a Punica. The fluff gras (Nassella) will provide the main frame. Most plants are evergreens. Three climbers wil extend the garden up onto the walls.
