Private garden.

A grass based, mixed, natural planting to soften and enhance the rectangular shapes and directive lines of the garden. Client had three requirements: no large groups, no yellows and a focus on change of seasons.

Planting:
A base mix of grasses and perennials, planted in smaller groups, with a few larger groups to create some rest and depth and focus. The grasses will soften the sturdy shapes and will provide a great fall colour palette working well with the grey tiles and the light brown fence. Plants are planted in groups of different size. varying from one to eleven pieces, depending on their role and position.
The planting scheme is built up per floweringtime. The garden is basically one space so all colours and shapes will have to work together per bloom period.

Owner is keen on doing maintenance herself.
